Our group seeks to explore novel bio-composite materials and molecular self-assembly systems. We adopt a bottom-up methodology starting from the molecular scale while changing its fundamental properties (electrical, chemical, optical, and mechanical). We use these building blocks to form various types of self-assembly layers, coatings, and stand alone composites. In many cases, these materials can be used for practical applications, and can meet the requirement to have an industrial potential
